STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION

Logging in for the first time in GST Portal can be a bit confusing if you are new to this and can require a bit of assistance to do so on how to login. On submission of all the details and documents, an acknowledgement number is allotted. At first head over to the official site of GST Portal. After landing in the homepage there can be a lot of options but you have to hover on the top right section of the page and look for the LOGIN option. After finding the login button , click on it then you will end up on next page which is ;

STEP 2 -

After reaching on the second page you are going to see the boxes asking for your username and password. Do not get confuse if you don’t have one. You have to look below those boxes where its written First time login: If you are logging in for the first time, click here to log in. You have to hover on to the CLICK button in blue color and click on it.

On reaching the third page you will notice new options as shown in th screenshot above asking or provisional ID and password. In place of provisional ID you simply have to type in your GST Number and in place of password you have to enter the password that you received in you email id by official Gst portal mail. After entering all these details you have to fill in the captcha code. Fill in the captcha code carefully and click on LOGIN.

STEP 4 -

After following all the above steps carefully you will end on this final page where all your details will be shown including name and gst number. This Dashboard will contain all your gst related information and shows that you are logged in successfully. That’s it you have logged in the gst portal for the first time. Now from here onwards whenever you want to log in again you simply have to follow till Step 3 and simply enter Username and password for easy login.
